Before it became a reality, MusicHead was an idea. A vision of a place, within this culturally declining world, where music is nurtured and respected as an art form and performance expectations rise above simply playing an instrument.
Whether performing as a pianist or conductor, singing in a band or working on musical theatre productions as a Music Director and Vocal Coach, Irina is bringing a wealth of knowledge as a performer and pedagogue. A classically trained pianist, she has been affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music for over 15 years and is often invited to lend her expertise as an adjudicator at festivals and competitions. A former double major in Piano Performance and Music Theory at the University of Toronto, Irina’s most notable performances include series of concerts with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
